STUDY KISWAHILI ABROAD
Currently, Professor Almasi is working collaboratively with the New College Principal on setting up a future intensive Swahili Language and Culture Study Abroad program. The goal is have the project underway in 2008. The objective is to provide students the opportunity to extend and enrich their class room Swahili Language.
However, in the meantime the University of Toronto has various study abroad programs. These programs are designed to give students an exciting international experience that fosters an awareness and appreciation for the people, cultures, and social and economic systems of the host country.
